The principles that guide our clinical practice, our providers, and your care.
Twilight Psychology is committed to delivering clinically excellent, neuro-affirming, evidence-based mental health services — with genuine accessibility and affordability for the neurodivergent individuals ages 3-99 and families we serve.
To create a world where neurodivergent individuals receive the support to lead lives of profound purpose and fulfillment.
Our Story
Twilight Psychology is a woman-owned, psychologist-led private practice based in Lexington, Kentucky. We specialize in delivering comprehensive mental health services across a range of psychological conditions, with therapy now available for neurodivergent clients across ages 3-99.
Dr. Cornett, the founder, chose the name to reflect her personal preference for evening hours. Twilight, the time between sunset and nightfall, is her favorite time of day. The name symbolizes our commitment to making mental health services accessible and affordable to all.
Our Core Values
Accessibility Without Compromise
We believe exceptional clinical care should be within reach. By maintaining credentials with most major insurances—including Commercial, KY Medicaid, and Medicare—and prioritizing efficient scheduling, we make it possible to access the caliber of care typically reserved for out-of-network practices.
Clinical Clarity
We provide a comprehensive lens through which to understand the self. We are committed to providing precise, evidence-based insights that serve as the foundation for an improved quality of life.
Neuro-Affirming Advocacy
We don't view neurodivergence as a deficit to be cured, but as a vital part of a person's identity. We honor different ways of thinking, being, and experiencing the world.
Holistic Continuity
Healing isn't linear, and it shouldn't be fragmented. By housing evaluation, therapy, and medication management under one roof, we provide a seamless experience that respects your complexity.
Authentic Connection
Behind every evaluation and treatment plan is a person. We cultivate a professional yet genuinely warm clinical environment where clients feel both respected and understood—because the strongest outcomes emerge from collaborative relationships built on trust.
