Thank you, Stephen, for your time at Twilight Psychology

We want to take a moment to thank Stephen Shu, M.A., LPA for his time at Twilight Psychology and his exceptional contribution over the past 6 months.

Over the course of his six month tenure with us — supervised by Dr. Heather Cornett — Stephen gained exposure to a wide range of clinical experiences focusing on psychological assessments involving neurodivergence. He conducted over 100 psychological evaluations, providing clinical clarity to teenagers and adults navigating both Medicaid and private insurance pathways. His thoughtful approach, clinical acumen, and genuine commitment to thorough assessment made a meaningful difference for the individuals and families he evaluated.

Stephen has demonstrated the qualities that define excellent clinical work: attention to detail, flexibility, curiosity, empathy for the client’s experience, and a deep respect for the role that accurate assessment plays in mental health care and treatment planning. He has been a valued member of our clinical team and has stepped up when needed, contributing to the growth and development of our practice.

We are excited to see what lies ahead. Stephen is now beginning his APA-accredited clinical internship at the VA Medical Center in Lexington — a testament to his clinical development and promise both as a practitioner and as a graduate student. We have no doubt he will bring the same dedication and care to every client he serves there.
