We are pleased to welcome Elise Van Meter to Twilight Psychology. Elise joins the practice and provides therapy for adolescents and adults and comprehensive psychological assessments for neurodivergent adults in Kentucky.

Elise holds a master’s degree in clinical psychology from Western Kentucky University and is currently pursuing her doctorate in applied psychology. She brings over four years of experience in private practice providing therapy and assessments for neurodivergent adolescents and adults.

Services

Therapy: Elise offers evidence-based therapy for adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, attention deficits, relationship issues, and the complexities of living as a neurodivergent person in a neurotypical world. She uses cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) to help clients develop individualized coping strategies, challenge unhelpful thought patterns, and create sustainable change.

Clinical Background

Elise’s experience includes four years at Skaggs Psychological Services providing therapy and psychological assessments, and three years at NeuroRestorative providing therapy for individuals with brain injuries. She has completed comprehensive assessments for autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, guardianship determination, mood and personality disorders, and learning disabilities.
