We have two new clinicians starting soon, focusing on psychological testing.
Hello! My name is Stephen Shu, and I am a Licensed Psychological Associate (LPA) practicing under the supervision of Dr. Heather Cornett, Ph.D. I am currently completing my doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology at the University of Hartford, and I earned my master’s degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University. I have trained in a variety of clinical settings including community mental health, private practice, outpatient hospital services, and neurorehabilitation, where I gained experience in both therapy and psychological assessment.
I am passionate about neuropsychology and the role that clear, comprehensive testing can play in helping individuals better understand their cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning. My goal is to provide assessments that bring clarity, support informed decision-making, and empower individuals to navigate their lives with greater confidence and insight. I strive to create a calm, supportive environment where people feel safe, respected, and comfortable throughout the evaluation process.I am a member of the Kentucky Psychological Association (KPA), the American PsychologicalAssociation (APA), and Psi Chi, the International Honor Society in Psychology.
Originally from Southern California, I moved to Kentucky after getting married and have loved building a meaningful life here. Outside of work, I enjoy playing video games, watching movies and reading. I am grateful to share life with my wonderful wife, our two cats (Salem and Ivy), and our twohorses (Coozie and Double).
