Now accepting new therapy and medication management clients
Hello, I am a clinical intern at Twilight Psychology under the supervision of Dr. Heather Cornett. I am currently a Ph.D. student at the University of Kentucky and hold a Master’s degree in Counseling from the University of North Dakota. I also earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Calcutta, India. I am licensed as a Mental Health Counselor in the state of New York and bring over four years of experience in the mental health field, supporting individuals across various life stages, including tweens, teens, and adults.
My approach to therapy is rooted in compassion, cultural sensitivity, and client empowerment. I take a neuroaffirmative and strengths-based approach, especially when working with neurodivergent individuals. I support clients in understanding and embracing their unique ways of thinking, feeling, and relating to the world, helping them unlearn internalized stigma and reframe challenges through a lens of self-acceptance and authenticity. I help clients explore how their lived experiences, family systems, and societal norms have shaped their narratives around identity, self-worth, and belonging.
I integrate a variety of therapeutic modalities, including person-centered therapy, CBT, DBT, mindfulness-based practices, and narrative therapy, all within a trauma-informed and inclusive framework. My goal is to create a collaborative, affirming space where clients feel seen, heard, and supported in their journey toward healing and growth.
Outside of the therapy room, I find joy in traveling, reading, and watching thriller series with my partner. I also cherish long phone calls with my sisters and friends. I’m honored to walk alongside clients on their mental and emotional wellness journeys with empathy, curiosity, anddeep respect for their lived experiences.
