Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), formerly known as ADD, is a neurodevelopmental disorder affecting focus, attention, and impulse control. While often associated with hyperactivity, ADHD can manifest differently in men and women.
ADHD can co-occur with autism, anxiety, depression, and learning disabilities. ADHD testing provides valuable insights, aiding in individually diagnosing these co-occuring conditions. Our assessments help facilitate academic or workplace accommodations, and help healthcare providers tailor effective treatment plans. These evaluations are often required for services like stimulant medication, individualized education plans (IEPs), and government-funded programs.
We offer comprehensive ADHD assessments that go beyond traditional computerized testing and screeners. Our approach considers a variety of factors, ensuring accurate diagnosis and personalized treatment plans. We have over 5 years of experience evaluating hundreds of clients, aged 2 and above for ADHD.
Our assessments and interviews are rooted in the latest research and enables our clinicians to differentiate comorbidities within the ADHD spectrum.
Do not let a misdiagnosis hinder your progress. We accept most major insurance and Kentucky medicaid plans, along with various self-pay options. Telehealth testing is available on a case-by-case basis depending on the age of the client and participating health insurance. Children under the age of 12 are evaluated in-person at our Lexington office for ADHD.
