Dyslexia is a learning disability that is characterized by the client's inability or trouble reading or recognizing words. The client also has trouble with spellings. Dysgraphia is the inability of the client to write at an appropriate peer level. The written language might have spelling errors, improper letter size and spacing, or illegible writing. Finally, Dyscalculia is the inability to understand numerical data or math. This condition can manifest in numerous ways such as trouble understanding math concepts or arithmetic skills. It is important to understand that learning disabilities can frequently co-occur with ADHD or other health concerns.
